Early musical education & highlights

Vivien Walser (2004) began piano lessons at the age of five and studied with Prof. Massimiliano Mainolfi in the preparatory department from the age of ten. In 2020, she was accepted as a junior student of Prof. Antti Siirala at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and is currently completing her bachelor's degree with him. As a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Liechtenstein and the German Foundation for Musical Life (since the age of 13), she has won numerous competitions, including the Steinway Klassik-Förderpreis as the youngest prize winner and the 1st prize of the Valencia International Performance Academy (2023) as well as multiple first prizes at the national competition "Jugend Musiziert". In the summer of 2025, she made her debut at Leipzig Opera with the Gewandhaus Orchestra performing Clara Schumann's Piano Concerto in a ballet production. In 2024, performances at the Laeiszhalle with the Hamburg Chamber Symphony (Clara Schumann Piano Concerto) and at the Prinzregententheater in Munich (Piano Concerto No. 2 by Rachmaninov) as part of the Munich Opera Festival. As a teenager, she played at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Resonanzraum Hamburg and the Stars and Rising Stars Festival.
