For the seventh time, the Schloss Neuhardenberg foundation and the cellist Jan Vogler are inviting young musicians to a one-week chamber music workshop in the Mark Brandenburg. The participants will be working on their interpretation and technique, virtuosity, expression and inner understanding of chamber music works from various periods in a highly focused and motivated way. In the course of this work, they will also develop a programme that will be performed in front of an audience at a joint final concert.
The Neuhardenberg workshop is a project within the scope of the Masterclass Student Masters, which was initiated in order to give young musicians who are at the beginning of their careers important stimuli for their further development through workshops and joint performances with famous virtuosos. It primarily addresses former winners of Jugend musiziert, Germany's annual national competition for young classical musicians. The German Savings Banks Association has been the main sponsor of both of these projects for many years.
